Im sorry i have been a TERRIBLE blogger... well i have been that bad i don't know if i can even be classed as a blogger anymore.
I have seriously neglected my blog. After The Corner Emporium scheme came to an end i have been very busy and very un-organised!

I promise i will try my hardest to keep this blog a little more up to date.

My posts now a days seems to be short but sweet, so why change??

Just some photographs of new stock and re-jigging. Im always moving stock around and making things look different and inviting.

Not a very good quality photo, but this is supposed to be my tea party table with knitted cupcakes, tea cups and tea pots, hand printed british bulldog tea towels, even a tea pot necklace!

mirror mirror on the wall

New addition to the shop a pretty pink girly mirror.

Painted in a cute shade of pink and sanded in areas to add a distressed worn charm. Jazzed up with buttons and even scribble tiles reminding you to cack a smile... not a mirror :p

I ideally thought this would suit a little girls bedroom but i could see this fitting in well in my bedroom, may have to make another one!

A stitch in time saves nine...

Although this has already sold i thought i would share a picture of this cute sewing box.

The wooden box has beautiful colourful patterns, im not sure what kind of style it is but i think it looks a bit boho. It isn't intended to be a sewing box but a customer had the great idea of turning it into one and filling it with threads that i stock and i made a little pink pin cushion that fits inside. Cute? What do you think?

Shop>> New Addition

After printing a black silhouette onto a cushion i had the urge to do another one and i thought a man in a top hat would make a great silhouette. So i drew out a design and printed it onto a linen fabric and framed it in a baroque/ rococo style black frame.

A new typewriter arrived in the shop yesterday afternoon. It comes with this lovely, sturdy black carry case.

Shop>> New Addition

A new little addition to the shop. I needed something to fill a gap in the wall after i sold some framed art work. So i decided to hand painted and hand stitched onto calico a sweet little blue tit. I chose a blue tit because of their lovely mix of vibrant colours and added some hand emboirdery for a little bit of extra detail. I decided to paint the wooden frame a vibrant duck egg colour to compliment the colours of the blue tit and to make it stand out against the cream wall.... hope you like!

New Additions

So like a said i have recently been having a little switch around in the shop. I am making more stock and having more and more ideas i am wanting to do some lifestyle merchandising; putting my products in a setting that they are intended for. Such as displaying cushions on chairs and just adding some more homey touches to the shop.


I have revamped an old stool and little table that i had and bought from a local charity shop. Painted on some colourful eye catching paint and sanded one of them down to give it a distressed look.

Shop Update

I know we only just seem to have gotten over Christmas and New Year but i am being organised (for once) and have some Valentines stock already in the shop. I enjoyed making these lovely paper love heart streamers/ garland just to add a nice little bit of decoration .

Shop Update

The shop window is far from what myself and all the other shop owners want it to look like but we haven't had much of a chance to do anything about it since it has been so busy over Christmas but now it is starting to quiet down we are going to be getting around to dressing the window. But for now i had a little play around with my display and decided to display some of my cushions along with some letter sets and a button frame all piled into a suitcase.

There just aren't enough hours in the day

I have been a little naughty and slacked off from my (kind of) regular Blogging.
Im finding it hard to find time to blog when i spend all day at the shop and when i get home im making more stock. But i am going to try my best to keep the blog updated with stuff i make.
The shop has been going well. I sold two lovely cushions to a lady yesterday and she was kind enough to send me a text message to tell me how happy she was with them! One of the cushions she bought was the button love heart cushion.
It's nice to know my creations go to a loving home.
