I have been favouring silhouettes for a while now and have them featured on some coasters, cushions and framed screen prints in the shop. A girl came into the shop on Saturday and asked if i could put a print of a silhouette onto a t-shirt. I couldn't believe i hadn't thought to make some of these up sooner. I suppose with so many things to do and think about i sometimes don't think of all the possible ways i could apply my designs. But here is the t-shirt print. I think it looks pretty damn good, even if i do say so myself and im thinking of getting some more printed as soon as possible to go on sale in the shop.... and possibly one just for me. What do you think?

The Corner Emporium >> Shop Update
The theme for a lot the new items in the shop seems to be 70's retro. I love all the bright, possibly gaudy colours and the bold patterns. Not everyones cup of tea but i love it!

mirror mirror on the wall
New addition to the shop a pretty pink girly mirror.
Painted in a cute shade of pink and sanded in areas to add a distressed worn charm. Jazzed up with buttons and even scribble tiles reminding you to cack a smile... not a mirror :p
I ideally thought this would suit a little girls bedroom but i could see this fitting in well in my bedroom, may have to make another one!

A stitch in time saves nine...
Although this has already sold i thought i would share a picture of this cute sewing box.
The wooden box has beautiful colourful patterns, im not sure what kind of style it is but i think it looks a bit boho. It isn't intended to be a sewing box but a customer had the great idea of turning it into one and filling it with threads that i stock and i made a little pink pin cushion that fits inside. Cute? What do you think?
